The 2 Seas Programme organised a large consultation of the territories in June-July 2012 through a series of thirteen Territorial Exchanges. These have been developed as part of the 2 Seas territorial capitalisation.
They aimed to bring the 2 Seas partners from the same area together and to involve them in an assesment on the benefits to see how the territories are concretely benefiting from the actions undertaken.
These half day workshops were organised at local level, with the support of local authorities and stakeholders. The JTS conducted together with participants an analysis at project level on the benefits of being involved in an INTERREG Programme. The aim was to capture "from the ground" how the territories were concretely impacted by the Programme and how these benefits and results were communicated or could be better disseminated.
A special newsletter entirely devoted to the conclusions of the 2 Seas territorial exchanges was published in March 2013. (See Publications)
