20.11.2014 - 21.11.2014
The 2 Seas Launch Event was held on 20 & 21 November, in Saint-André-Lez-Lille. It attracted over 620 participants and was an excellent networking platform.
Through this event, the 2 Seas Programme aimed to:
1. Set the scene of the 2 Seas Programme and explain clearly its duality: the Programme has to comply with a strict EU logical framework and has to respond to the concrete needs of the areas involved.
2. Provide transparency on the programming process and explain the choices made by the 2 Seas Programme together with Member States expectations; preparing "ownership" of the Programme by the participants.
3. Enable a good understanding of the results expected regarding the themes chosen and explain concretely how the success of the Programme depends on the projects supported.
4. Provide a first forum where project ideas can be developed and partnerships built, actively supported by the territories involved in the 2 Seas area.
5. Prepare potential applicants to effectively submit quality projects to the Programme.
You can find below all the presentations and a selection of pictures of the Launch Event.
The documents related to the first 2 Seas Call for Proposals are now online.
